Emulsion of a polyether siloxane copolymer, contains fumed silica. Used as a defoamer emulsion for waterborne formulations in wood and furniture coatings and parquet lacquers, architectural coatings, industrial coatings, parquet lacquers, overprint varnishes and leather coatings. Is highly effective. Can be used universally in clear and pigmented formulations. Prevents foam formation during production and application of waterborne coatings and printing inks. Destroys pre-existing foam and prevents air occlusions. Possesses the greatest possible effectiveness and compatibility especially when added to the let-down and in clear coats, owing to their optimized particle size. Main areas of applications include pure acrylic emulsion, styrene acrylic emulsion, vinyl and EVA emulsions, PU dispersions and hybrid systems.
