ORGASOL® 2002 EXD NAT 1 is a spheroïdal powder of polyamide 12, with 10 µm as average diameter and a narrow particle size distribution. An extremely high level of quality is achieved thanks to our rigorous control of particle size distribution, providing excellent consistency in performance.
ORGASOL® 2002 EXD NAT 1 is a multi-functional additive providing flexibility to the thermoset resins used in can coatings (external and internal parts), while providing scratch and abrasion resistance. It can be combined with silica to achieve deep matt finishes without sacrificing paint abrasion resistance. It can be combined with waxes to optimise the slipperliness of the coating while keeping a high mechanical resistance. Chemically inert, ORGASOL® 2002 EXD NAT 1 is compatible with most resins and common formulating additives used in coating industry. The compliance with the FDA regulations (FDA 177-1500 and FDA 175-300) and the sharp particle size distribution are among the key parameters that make ORGASOL® 2002 EXD NAT 1 suitable for a broad range of thin coatings applications requiring food contact approval.
