ADDITIN RC 4220 can be used as an anti-corrosion additive where barium compounds are not desired.  Its anti-corrosion effect can be compared to analogous barium compounds. ADDITIN RC 4220 is ideally suited for formulating hydraulic fluids for which good hydrolytical and thermal stability as well as outstanding demulsifying and anti-corrosion properties are required.  Additionally, hydraulic fluids containing ADDITIN RC 4220 exhibit excellent filterability. ADDITIN RC 4220 can also be used as an excellent corrosion inhibitor in greases and rust preventatives.
