Product Details

Licowax OP flakes is a partly saponified ester wax of montanic acids used for a wide variety of polymers as multifunctional lubricant and dispersing agent. Suitable for PVC, engineering resins, thermosets etc.
In addition, it is used in solvent-based polish applications, thanks to its excellent paste-forming and solvent-binding capacity.

Typical Applications

  • Lubricant for plastics: PVC and engineering resins like polyamides, polyesters and their masterbatches. It is also used for re-inforced polypropylene compounds, for thermoplastic elastomers and thermosets. 
  • Excellent paste forming properties and solvent-binding capacity with organic hydrocarbon solvents for hard pasty polish products.
