Starting November 26, 2012, Palmer Holland, Inc. will be the authorized distributor of the Cytec Coatings Resins business, which includes energy-curable resins, melamine/urea crosslinking resins and liquid resins and additives, for the Northeast and Midwest United States.
It has also been recently announced that Cytec’s Coatings Resins business has been sold to Advent International, with a planned close in the first quarter of 2013. Advent is a global private equity firm that was founded in 1984 and has a strong global presence with offices in 16 countries. Coatings Resins will become an independent company, and this partnership with Advent will allow this business to remain a leading global producer of coating resins and additives within the industry.
A premier marketer of specialty raw materials, Palmer Holland has been serving the industry for over 85 years. From a small manufacturer’s representative catering to the graphics arts industry in Ohio to a full-services, super-regional specialty chemical distributor, Palmer Holland’s current service footprint extends from the eastern seaboard to the Mississippi River corridor and from the Canadian border to the Gulf of Mexico.
"Cytec's Coatings Resins Business is committed to providing superior service and support to all of our customers, and we are very excited to be working with such a well-established and highly-recognized distributor as Palmer Holland," states Tamara Toth, Distribution Manager for Cytec Industries. "This move will help ensure that our distributor customers receive the highest level of technical and logistics support possible."
TOR Minerals International, Inc. –a worldwide producer of specialty mineral products – has expanded Palmer Holland’s sales and marketing footprint down the Eastern Seaboard in its entirety.
While there is a sleek new design for the long time additive manufacturer, customers can still depend on the quality and flexibility of custom formulations that Focus has prided itself on for nearly a decade.
Palmer Holland is pleased to announce it has expanded its territory with Orion Engineered Carbons into the Northeast region. The additional states include Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, and limited parts of northern Virginia.
