Cytec Selects Palmer Holland

Starting November 26, 2012, Palmer Holland, Inc. will be the authorized distributor of the Cytec Coatings Resins business, which includes energy-curable resins, melamine/urea crosslinking resins and liquid resins and additives, for the Northeast and Midwest United States.

It has also been recently announced that Cytec’s Coatings Resins business has been sold to Advent International, with a planned close in the first quarter of 2013. Advent is a global private equity firm that was founded in 1984 and has a strong global presence with offices in 16 countries.  Coatings Resins will become an independent company, and this partnership with Advent will allow this business to remain a leading global producer of coating resins and additives within the industry.
