Christian Serrato joined Palmer Holland in 2023 as an Ingredients Consultant for the Health & Nutrition Team. He currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is responsible for the Ohio Valley territory, which consists of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, and east Pennsylvania.
Christian is a seasoned industry professional with over 20 years of experience spanning technical expertise, culinary innovation, and leadership roles. He is a highly motivated leader providing senior-level technical support, focusing on but not limited to product innovation, commercialization, sensory design, quality control, cost savings, and building customer relationships.
Most recently, Christian served as the Director of Sensory and Business Development, designing and leading all aspects of Descriptive Analysis (DA) projects using the SpectrumTM method. Prior roles, such as Technical Commercial Manager and Sr. Culinary Development Chef at Baxters North America, allowed him to excel in providing technical support, leading product development, and contributing to innovative solutions in ready-to-eat food sectors. Earlier experiences at Roskam Baking Company, Kerry, and Cargill Flavor Systems equipped him with extensive skills in culinary science, baking science, product development, and customer-focused solutions.
In Christian’s free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, tasting new bourbons and tequilas, and being handy around the house.
