International Furan Chemicals (IFC) turns agricultural waste into biobased chemicals. Its platform originates in sugarcane bagasse — the fibers left over after sugar extraction — which is used to produce furfural, a versatile chemical built on renewable biomass rather than crude oil. 

Furfural, manufactured from agricultural waste streams, serves as the foundation for a broad range of derivative chemicals that IFC supplies across pharma and cosmetics, wood impregnation and building & construction, foundry, and bio-solvents markets.
