Following the completion of Bluestar's acquisition of the majority of Elkem's Silicones division, the company operates 11 manufacturing sites across four continents and employs approximately 3,500 people worldwide, including around 400 research and development scientists. 

Throughout the transition, Bluestar Silicones has emphasized continuity for customers and partners: manufacturing sites, production processes, raw materials, product names, and commercial trademarks remain unchanged. Building on its industrial, scientific, and commercial base, Bluestar Silicones is focused on growing as a global player in the silicones value chain while maintaining the customer proximity and application expertise the business has developed over eight decades in silicone chemistry.
