Arkema Specialty Polyamides Powders
Arkema’s ORGASOL® and RILSAN® D additives are ultra-fine polyamide powders and high-performance coating additives used to add visual and durability effects to either water-based, solvent-based, or UV/EB formulations. They are compatible with all resin systems.
Orgasol®
Orgasol® ultrafine polyamide powders are a range of polymers and copolymers of lauryllactam (PA12) and/or caprolactam (PA6), obtained by direct polymerization.
Thanks to this process, a wide range of Orgasol®powders with a spherical shape and very narrow particle size distribution is available. The grades differ in terms of particle size (from 5 to 60 microns), specific surface area and melting-point.
