We are seeking a high energy, self-motivated individual who is interested in developing a career in data analytics. As a member of the Business Intelligence team, the Business Intelligence Analyst works as part of a team to assist Palmer Holland’s commercial business units in collecting meaningful data and provides trusted information to make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate communicates and collaborates with stakeholders, documents requirements, develops technical solutions using Microsoft Office, SQL, and Tableau, formats and presents reports, creates documentation, and trains end-users on interpreting reports. We require someone who has strong data analysis skills, a desire to see how to improve processes, and a willingness to learn our business practices so you can tell if the data "looks accurate.”

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and ask open-ended questions to obtain business needs
• Design and construct information products, reports, and advanced analytics
• Perform data analysis, data quality audits/reviews, statistical analysis, and data mining
• Actively seek opportunities to refine, improve, and automate data gathering and reporting
• Prepare ad hoc reports as required by management
• Maintain existing and assist with creation of new reports and dashboards
• Continually look for ways to improve processes, efficiency, and accuracy
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with commercial and sales team members and various operations departments
