As a result of the manufacturing process (Laux-process), which includes a high temperature calcining step, Bayferrox® 130 has a higher intrinsic hardness than other precipitated pigments as well as outstanding heat stability. It is very resistant to color change during high energy dispersion processes.
The main applications for Bayferrox® 130 are as follows:
LANXESS is a leading specialty chemicals company. The core business of LANXESS is the development, manufacturing and marketing of plastics, rubber, intermediates and specialty chemicals.
Bayoxide® E 8710 is an oxtahedral, magnetic iron oxide black pigment.
