The Account Manager is responsible for selling the business’s products. This is a field sales role. The candidate is expected to reside in the Toronto, Ontario area of Canada and travel to customer locations throughout his/her assigned territory

Job Requirements:

  • Desired Skill: fluency in English and French (reading, writing, speaking).
  • 4 year degree or equivalent in a field applicable to our associated industries.
  • Technical selling experience within Plastics and Coatings additive market(s)
  • Proven sales experience in promotion and marketing of raw materials
  • Self-motivated
  • Professional and prompt
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to drive (Sales)

We're Hiring!

Palmer Holland is looking for Account Managers (Outside Salespeople) in Houston, TX and the San Francisco Bay Area. 


Essential tasks of the position include:

  • Sell PH products and act as a professional sales representative for distribution partners
  • Perform sales calls on a daily basis via phone, email, fax and in person
  • Develop and implement sales plans, document price quotes, perform sales contract reviews, and report sales performance
  • Communicate with customers and internal staff to secure sales orders and assure customer satisfaction
  • Grow sales in the assigned territory by engaging in relationship-based sales techniques



  • A four-year degree from an accredited university in a field applicable to technical sales in PH associated industries
  • Experience in chemical/technical sales
    • Experience in managing and executing product sales plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand technical and non-technical documents as they relate to the sales of and contracts for the company’s products
