r AQUAPOLY 215 - finely micronized, cost-effective polyethylene wax that imparts slip, rub and mar resistance in coatings and inks. This product has been modified for easy dispersion in aqueous systems.
r AquaTex Series - micronized high-density polyolefins that are manufactured using special equipment to provide a unique texturing agent. AquaTex imparts a smoother feel than other types of texturing agents due to their rounded, almost spherical shape.
r MicrospeX Series - a unique blend of compounded high molecular weight, pigmented polyolefin polymers. The different color portions of the MicrospeX products vary in particle size creating a unique visual effect. These products are intended for use in decorative floor coatings replacing inorganic media. MicrospeX provide more intense color and lighter weight.
r Proplyfluo 824 - a combination of high melt point polymeric polypropylene and PTFE for matting and gloss control with surface lubricity and abrasion resistance. This product can be easily dispersed into water-based systems with high-speed dispersion equipment.
MICROSPEX Series
MicrospeX
polyolefin polymers, closely controlled to a 12-mesh maximum particle size. The different color
portions of the
MicrospeX products vary in particle size creating a unique visual effect. Theseproducts are intended for use in decorative floor coatings replacing inorganic media.
MicrospeXs
provide more intense color and lighter weight. They can also be pre-mixed into thecoating allowing for single coat applications without the need for a top sealer coat.
MicrospeXs
have been formulated to create varying colored visual effects giving a "granitelike" or stone appearance in all types of paints and coatings applications. This advanced product
will provide an impressive textured affect in thin films and a dramatic visual effect on thicker
film coatings. The components are colorfast, and thus will not bleed when mixed into the paint
vehicle. The recommended addition level of the
MicrospeX colors is 1025% based on totalformula weight and is entirely dependent upon the desired effect.
