Naturally Derived "Green" Polyols for Urethane Protective Coatings and
Surface Restoration Systems for Concrete

Vertellus Performance Materials Inc. is pleased to introduce POLYCIN D,T,M Polyols, a full line of 100% solids, naturally-derived polyols to upgrade the physical performance and application properties of urethane coatings designed to protect concrete, and for all urethane-based concrete restoration systems.  Polycin D,T,M polyols possess low viscosity profiles, excellent UV resistance and exterior durability, high hardness, and impressive chemical resistance.

Polycin M-365 - can achieve impressive levels of chemical and stain resistance in both aromatic and aliphatic urethane coatings.  Good resistance performance against concentrated sulphuric and hydrochloric acids can be achieved. Polycin M-365 can be used to formulate thick coating films (10 mils or more) with minimal bubbling, popping, and surface frosting.    Polycin365_TDS

Polycin M-280 - possess excellent hardness (84 Shore D) with good flexibility profile. Polycin M-280 promotes good stain and chemical resistance through its high crosslink density. It has very impressive UV and exterior durability and is an excellent choice for topcoats that require weathering resistance.    Polycin280_TDS

Polycin T-400 - produces extremely hard and chemical resistant films.  Polycin T-400 has a rapid reaction rate and can increase toughness in existing systems and achieve an improved application temperature range for outdoor applied urethane products. The best choice for hard, durable topcoats.     Polycin400_TDS

Polycin D-290 - possesses extremely low viscosity (280 cps) and can be employed to increase urethane system flexibility, lower application viscosities, and lengthen product work times.  Polycin D-290 has good UV resistance and can promote flow and levelling in aliphatic urethane topcoats.     Polycin290_TDS

Polycin D-265 - similar to Polycin D-290 above, Polycin D-265 (viscosity=371 cps) can be employed to increase urethane system flexibility, lower application viscosities, and lengthen product work times. Polycin265_TDS

Polycin D-140 - a difunctional polyol whose use at low levels (5-10%) can promote additional flexibility in urethane systems based upon other Polycin polyols, or polyethers, polyesters, or acrylics.  Polycin D-140 can also be employed at low levels to lengthen work times in urethane coatings.     Polycin140_TDS
